RCIA

Meets Sundays from 2-4 pm in Murray Dodge 210. Begins Sept 24th.

Have doubts? Have you always wanted to make your confirmation? Are you interested in receiving baptism or coming into the Catholic Church?  Are you curious about the fundamentals of Catholicism? Join us for the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults as we seek to understand more of what Catholics believe.

Our meetings are open to anyone with Questions about the Catholic Faith: No Question to small.....We start every session with an open question and answer session with refreshments. All are Welcome. From 2:30-4:00 we will then turn to an in-depth discussion of a particular topic. Please see the schedule below.

What is it for?

  • To help non-Catholics learn more about Catholicism

  • For those non-Catholics who feel called, an opportunity to receive all three of the Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Communion and Confirmation

  • To provide Catholics with a way of exploring their faith while preparing for First Communion or Confirmation

How does it work?

  • We meet once a week to share a home cooked meal and discuss different elements of Basic Catholic Belief.

  • No commitment is required to participate in the discussions.

  • Over the course of the school year, we provide support for people through the process of conversion.

  • Both Father Gabe and Danna are available for private discussions about faith, doubts, and the decision to convert.
