Christian Basics: Sharing the Faith

If Christianity is really “good news,” then all Christians are responsible for their part in announcing it and making it available to others. But in a culture both scarred by coercive uses of power and skeptical of claims about universal truth, it takes intentional preparation to show that Christianity is both genuinely good and genuinely news, more than just a coping mechanism or mere myth. In this seminar, we will focus on some basic theology of evangelism and hone in on the practical how-to (and how-not-to!) of sharing the Gospel. The first session will focus on communicating with nonchristians, and the second will focus on communicating with non-Catholic Christians.
