THEOLOGY OF THE BODY: HUMAN DIGNITY & LOVE IN THE AGE OF AI
| As artificial intelligence reshapes education, work, creativity, and relationships, a question emerges: What does it mean to be human? Drawing on St. John Paul II’s Theology of the Body and Pope Leo XIV’s Magnifica Humanitas, this seminar explores human dignity, freedom, love, and the meaning of the body in an age increasingly tempted to reduce persons to information, productivity, and data. Far from being accidental or insignificant, the human body reveals who we are and what we are made for. Through our bodies, we encounter others, form relationships, make gifts of ourselves, and discover our capacity for love. In a world fascinated by artificial intelligence, Theology of the Body offers a compelling vision of the human person as uniquely created for truth, freedom, communion, and love. |
