THE DEVIL, EXORCISM & DELIVERANCE

  • February 3, 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm
  • February 10, 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm
  • February 17, 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm
Aquinas Institute (134 Nassau St)

This seminar will examine how the devil works, the difference between ordinary temptation and extraordinary diabolical activity—including demonic oppression, possession, hauntings, curses, and other attacks—and the doctrinal, historical, and pastoral foundations for the Church’s ministry of exorcism. We will explore the Church’s teaching on angels, demons, and spiritual warfare through Sacred Scripture, the theology of St. Thomas Aquinas, and the real-world experience of Catholic exorcists.

Above all, the focus will be on Christ’s victory over evil and the paths to deliverance, freedom, and holiness through prayer, the sacraments, repentance, and virtue—learning how to reject the lies of the devil and live in confidence, peace, and hope.
